PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for reducing contamination caused by microorganisms present in the skin, external microorganisms of a body fluid source or other contaminants, and acquiring a body fluid sample parenterally.SOLUTION: A syringe type device includes a housing, a pre-sample reservoir, and an actuator. The housing defines an internal space between a proximal end part which is open substantially and a distal end part including a port that can be connected to a lumen defining device. The pre-sample reservoir can be fluidly connected to the port, receives a body fluid of a first cubic volume, and isolates it. The actuator is disposed in the internal space at least partially, and includes a proximal end part including an operation part and a distal end part including a sealing member.
