A real-time volitional electromyography (EMG) and stimulus EMG monitoring system integrated with electrical stimulator and artifact-suppression circuit is disclosed. The device includes an overall EMG amplifier and a stimulator, artifact suppression circuit, and analogue to digital converter. The signal process unit receives the stimulation parameters and controls the stimulator to generate constant current stimulation. The EMG amplifier with artifact suppressor reduces the artifact that caused by electrical stimulation and amplifies the overall EMG signal. The amplified overall EMG can be converted to digital data for further processing.
