PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical needle configured such that an inner needle is punctured a relatively long distance into thin tissue such as a mucous membrane.SOLUTION: Provided is a medical needle 2 comprising: an outer needle 5 having an inner hole 5a and also having a pointed end 5c at the front tip thereof and an inner needle 6 received within the inner hole 5a of the outer needle 5 so as to be capable of extending out of and retracting into the front tip opening of the inner hole 5a. The inner needle 6 is formed in a straight flat bar-like shape, constituted of an elastically deformable material.
