PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing stretcher having improved maneuverability which reduces the number of operations of a bathing aid person.
SOLUTION: The bathing stretcher 1 includes a revolving handrail 17 gripped by a bathing person and main side guards 15. On the head side, with respect to the main side guards 7, of the bathing person lying on the stretcher, the bathing stretcher further has sub-side guards 24 on both sides of the stretcher which follow and move with revolving of the handrail 17 and revolve between a standing position and a lying position with respect to a mounting face of the stretcher. When the handrail 17 is revolved to a grip position where the handrail is gripped by a bathing person, the sub-side guards 24 revolve to the standing position with respect to the mounting face and prevent the upper limbs of the bathing person from protruding outward from the mounting face. When the handrail 17 is revolved to a non-grip position, the sub-side guards 24 revolve to the lying position where the sub-side guards do not hinder transfer of the bathing person to the mounting face.
