PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bait container which can be easily carried in the fishing field by a fisherman.SOLUTION: A bait container 10 comprises a container body 11 and a flange 12 made integrally of a thin polyethylene sheet set to a thickness size of 0.3 mm to 1.2 mm. The flange 12 has slits 15 and 16 formed therein. The flange 12 is partially cut up across the slits 15 and 16 to constitute handles 13 and 14. An annular protrusion 23 is formed on the top face 17 of the container body 11. Protrusions 32 and 33 are formed on the handles 13 and 14.
