PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container having a lid body connected to a container body by a hinge, in which closing operation of the lid body is easily and surely performed.SOLUTION: A container comprises: a cylindrical container body； and a lid body which is connected to the container body by a hinge and installed to be openable/closable with respect to an aperture of the container body. The lid body comprises: a top surface plate； an inner ring which is formed on the top surface plate； and a protrusion including an outer peripheral surface protrusion which is formed in a concentric shape with the inner ring and protruding in a circumferential direction of an outer peripheral surface. A lateral wall of the container body comprises: a first inner peripheral surface including an inner peripheral surface protrusion protruding in a circumferential direction； and a second inner peripheral surface having a different inner diameter region from that of the first inner peripheral surface. When the lid body is in a closed state, the inner ring is fitted to the second inner peripheral surface of the container body to seal the container body.
