The present invention relates to a water-soluble sodium silicate composition by which dementia (Alzheimer&prime；s) can be prevented and alleviated. The water-soluble sodium silicate composition according to the present invention comprises 70-85 wt% of concentrated silicate dioxide (SiO2)； 8-12 wt% of anhydrous sodium carbonate (soda ash)； 3-7 wt% of tribasic sodium phosphate； 2-6 wt% of sodium pyrophosphate； and 2-5 wt% of sodium metaphosphate.본 발명은 치매(알츠하이머)를 예방하고 개선할 수 있는 수용성 규산염 조성물과 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 치매 예방 및 치료를 위한 수용성 규산염 조성물은 이산화규소 70중량% ~ 85중량% ；무수탄산나트륨 (SODA ASH) 8중량% ~ 12중량% ；3인산나트륨(Tribasic Sodium Phosphate) 3중량% ~ 7중량% ；피로인산나트륨(Sodium Pyrophosphate) 2중량% ~ 6중량% ；메타인산나트륨(Sodium Metaphosphate) 2중량% ~ 5중량%로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
