The moving part (1) has a holding unit e.g. bolt, for rotatably holding a container (2) utilized for receiving a medical and dental instrument within an autoclave kettle (3), and ports (4) for supplying and discharging fluids to and from the container. The moving part allows access to the inner space of the autoclave kettle and is pivotable and/or displaceable with respect to the autoclave kettle. The holding unit and the ports are arranged together on a support plate or on respective support plates. A recognizing unit (11) recognizes the correct attachment of the container. The container is formed as a lockable chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for hygienic treatment of medical and dental instruments.
