The present invention relates to an apparatus for observing the lipid layer of the eye surface. More particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus for observing the lipid layer of the eye surface by attaching a diffuser to a slit lamp microscope for diagnosing eye diseases and for observing the lipid layer of the eye surface on the eye surface of conjunctiva or cornea by using the interference of light generated on the lipid layer of the eye surface. According to the present invention, the diffuser for analyzing the lipid layer of the eye surface without a separate light source and a configuration for connecting the slit lamp microscope for diagnosing eye diseases to the diffuser are needed. Therefore, the present invention can be used for observing, evaluating, and analyzing the lipid layer of the eye surface on eye surface diseases such as xerophthalmia, or the like.본 발명은 안구 표면 눈물막의 기름층 관찰 장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는, 안과진료용 세극등 현미경에 디퓨져(diffuser)를 부착하여 눈물막의 기름층에서 생기는 빛의 간섭현상을 이용해 각막 또는 결막의 안구 표면에서의 눈물막 기름층을 관찰할 수 있는 눈물막 기름층 관찰 장치에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 의하면, 별도의 광원없이 눈물막 기름층 분석을 위해 디퓨져 및 디퓨져를 안과진료용 세극등 현미경에 연결시키기 위한 구성만 필요하므로, 안구 건조증 등 안구 표면 질환에서 눈물막의 기름층을 관찰하고 평가 및 분석하는데 있어서 용이하고 저렴하게 이용될 수 있다.
