PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of estimating the differential direction of a differential interferometer to thereby accurately acquire information of a subject.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus comprises: a differential interferometer for acquiring interference fringes formed by radiation transmitted through a subject and a calculation device for estimating the differential direction of the differential interferometer by analyzing the interference fringes acquired by the differential interferometer.
