PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Grifola froundosa artificial cultivation using hemicellulose derived from a natural product such as wood so as to enable further efficient cultivation and achieve effective use of forest resources, and to give no excessive burden to the environment when disposing of used medium and culture medium.SOLUTION: This Grifola froundosa yield increasing agent has as the main ingredient a matter which is obtained by depolymerizing polysaccharide in hemicellulose by irradiation with radial rays or enzymatic hydrolysis.
