To provide an absorbent article which can quickly absorb a large amount of sweat, reduces inconvenience of an absorbed body fluid returning to a skin side of a wearer, and is less likely to cause skin troubles due to the body fluid.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 of the present invention comprises a liquid-retaining absorbent core 24, and a core wrap sheet 25 to be in contact with a skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 24. On the skin-facing surface side of the core wrap sheet 25A, a surface sheet 21 and a sweat absorbent sheet 10 are disposed in the order of proximity to the core wrap sheet 25. A part 10T of the sweat absorbent sheet 10 is disposed to face the surface sheet 21 so that it can be in contact therewith.
