PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect trap in which an insect trapping sheet can be changed easily.SOLUTION: An insect trap is an insect trap 1 of a vertically-placed type comprising a luring light source 2 for luring insects, an adhesive sheet 3 for trapping the insects lured with the luring light source 2, and a box 4 for storing the luring light source 2 and the insect trapping sheet 3. The box 4 includes a base 5 for fixing the luring light source 2, a pair of side parts 6 arranged to cover the side face along the longitudinal direction of the base 5 and formed with an opening in a front face, and a pair of caps 7 mounted at both ends of the base 5 through a hinge part and closing the sides of the side parts 6. A notch is provided in the vicinity of the hinge part of the pair of caps 7 at top and bottom ends of the pair of side parts 6.
