PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taking bath assistant device capable of preventing floating even when a seating face part of a seating face transfer position is protruded to a washing place, and allowing a person who is helped to be seated on a seating face part.SOLUTION: A taking bath assistant device comprises: movable movement means for moving a seating face part between a seating face transfer position where at least a part of the seating face part is on a long side rim of a bathtub in top view, and the seating face part is closest to the long side rim side, and a seating face lifting upper limit position； a body part having a first load support part which is mounted on the long side rim； and a handhold part. The seating face part forms a protrusion part which can be protruded to outside of the bathtub relative to the first load support part. The handhold part receives a load of a user and provided in the vicinity of the protrusion part so as to support a seating operation of a user.
