PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for growing plants excellent in visibility and appreciation of plants under a red light predominant light source, and allowing the observation of the original color of plants, and to provide a translucent member applicable to the same.SOLUTION: The apparatus for growing plants includes a casing having a space in which the plants can be accommodated and a translucent window, and a light source irradiating light in the space.
