The present invention relates to an apparatus for diagnosing a skin condition, and a method for diagnosing a skin condition using the same. The apparatus for diagnosing a skin condition comprises: an image acquiring unit for acquiring a gray skin image； an image processing unit for verifying and processing the gray skin image； an image analyzing unit for analyzing the verified and processed gray skin image； a skin diagnosing unit for diagnosing skin moisture based on the result analyzed in the image analyzing unit； and a display unit for recognizing the diagnosis result of the skin.
