PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of finding a failure of the insertion/removal of an optical member due to temporal deterioration.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic apparatus comprises: an illumination optical system including a light source configured to illuminate an eye to be examined a light receiving optical system including an image sensor configured to image the eye to be examined and an optical member configured to insert/remove an optical path in the illumination optical system and the light receiving optical system.
