PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which is easy to manufacture and whose insertion part can be made thin.SOLUTION: An imaging device 20 of an endoscope has: an image sensor 21； and a circuit board 24 electrically connected to a connection terminal 26 of the image sensor 21. The circuit board 24 is a rigid substrate formed into an L-shape seen in a width direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of an insertion part.
