PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body support device for a wheelchair, the device making a person on a wheelchair seated in a comfortable posture and with a sense of relief, by laterally supporting the head, etc., of the person.SOLUTION: A body support device 1 for a wheelchair includes: a lower vertical frame 2, intermediate lateral frame 3, upper vertical frame 4, turning frame 5, and a body support pad 6. The lower end of the lower vertical frame 2 is mounted on the upper frame C11 of a handrail part C1, with a clamp 7 through a ball joint 8. The rear end of the intermediate lateral frame 3 is mounted on the side frame C21 of a backrest part C2.
