PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanting machine in which seedlings can be planted by a simple operation on the spot, without moving a vehicle body forward and backward, and a planting start position of the seedlings and a planting end position thereof can be aligned, and thereby the planting accuracy of the seedlings is superior.SOLUTION: When a planting operation lever 6 is operated in the "planting on the spot" position, the planting operation lever 6 is operated in the "planting on the spot" position and the traveling of a vehicle is stopped to thereby enable the seedlings to be planted on the spot by providing an interlocking mechanism R for moving a second gear shift lever 10 to the "neutralization" position. Accordingly, the seedlings can be planted in a planting starting position and a planting end position of a planting row, and the planting start position and the planting end position of the seedlings are aligned, and thereby the planting accuracy of the seedlings can be improved.
