PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel capable of reliably preventing erroneous operation by improving recognition accuracy of a clutch OFF state. SOLUTION: The fishing reel imparts a resistance force with a moderation feeling to the operation member 21 when the operation member 21 is pushed in by the pressing operation force and the spool is switched to the fishing line releasing state (clutch OFF state).
