The protection device for protecting an animal without functional vision comprises: a main body which can output sound and vibration, is capable of communications, and is worn on the animal a ring which is joined to the main body, places a head of the animal on a center of a predetermined longitudinal line, and is made of an elastic material and a plurality of ultrasonic wave sensors which sense existence of an obstacle interrupting movement of the animal to prevent collision between the animal and the obstacle or to prevent the animal from falling, are located on a front side, an upper side and a lower side of the ring, enable ultrasonic waves to be emitted at a predetermined angle, and can communicate with the main body.
