PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of excellently preventing lateral leakage even when a wearer is lying on his/her side.SOLUTION: A roughly planar absorbent article comprises a liquid-permeable upper side sheet, a liquid-impermeable lower side sheet, and an absorber layer arranged between the upper side sheet and the lower side sheet, and has a prescribed length in a back and forth direction, and a prescribed width in a width direction orthogonal to the back and forth direction.
