PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solubilizing fullerene into water effectively and simply using a safe material and to provide a fullerene solution obtained by the method.
SOLUTION: An aqueous solution of fullerene wherein fullerene is stably dispersed in water is obtained by mixing strongly fullerene and a polysaccharide by the high speed vibrating crushing method, followed by agitating with addition of water. As the polysaccharide, &beta-1,3-glucan (sizofuran or the like) is preferably used.
