A new medicine application by hot fomentation is disclosed. The medicine comes in the form of prepared and contains ayurvedic herbs tied in a cotton cloth, ready to be heated and used for hot fomenentation. The medicine has the effects of reducing pain, stiffness and oedema of joints it also prevents strictures and can be easily used without having the need togo to trained doctors or therapists tor the same. It is also cost effective and time saving and also works on the conditions Where, other available medicines for topical applications like oils and gels are not as: effective or are contra-indicated e.g. Amavata. This pottali can be used in these conditions as well and gives, better results as it increases peripheral circulation and also pacifies the vitiated dosha -essentially Vata, Kapha and Ama.
