The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing hydrogel foam by using agarose derived from seaweed and a purpose thereof, and more specifically, relates to a method of manufacturing high purity agarose from seaweed, a method of manufacturing hydrogel foam by using agarose derived from seaweed, a cosmetic composition containing hydrogel foam as an effective component, and a pharmaceutical composition for wound treatment. The present invention includes: a step (1) of obtaining an extract by soaking seaweed in alkali； a step (2) of forming gel by using the extract； a step (3) of freezing and drying the gel, and then, obtaining agar from the seaweed through a microwaving treatment； and a step (4) of extracting agarose by adding the obtained agar to a dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solution and making the agar react to the solution at 80-100°C for 20-24 hours.본 발명은 해조류 유래 아가로스를 이용한 하이드로겔 폼의 제조방법 및 상기 방법으로 제조된 하이드로겔 폼의 용도에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 본 발명은 (1) 해조류를 알칼리 침지시켜 추출물을 수득하는 단계； (2) 상기 추출물을 이용하여 겔을 형성하는 단계； (3) 겔을 동결건조시키고, 이후 마이크로웨이브를 처리하여 상기 해조류로부터 한천을 수득하는 단계； 및 (4) 상기 수득한 한천을 DMSO(dimethyl sulfoxide) 용액에 첨가하고 80~100 ℃의 온도에서 20~24시간 동안 반응시켜 아가로스를 추출하는 단계를 포함하는 해조류로부터 고순도의 아가로스를 제조하는 방법, 해조류 유래 아가로스를 이용한 하이드로겔 폼의 제조방법, 하이드로겔 폼을 유효성분으로 포함하는 화장료 조성물 및 상처 치유용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것이다.
