PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the quantity of light with which plants are irradiated, to a proper value and also to suppress increase in a load on a user.SOLUTION: A light emission control device includes a light emission part 100, a concentration measuring part 120, and a control part 130. The light emission part 100 emits light toward a cultivation area 10 in which plants are cultivated. The concentration measuring part 120 measures the carbon dioxide concentration in the cultivation area 10.
