The present invention relates to a sterilization method of pancreatin and a production method of pancreatin using the same. In particular, sodium hypochlorite is added to a composition containing pancreatin dispersed or dissolved in one or more solvents, to a fixed concentration, and maintained for a fixed time to effect sterilization. According to the present invention, a very simple method of adding sodium hypochlorite to a composition containing pancreatin and conducting a reaction thereof, can kill microorganisms existing in the composition in an extremely effective manner while maintaining activities of the main enzymes of pancreatin, including lipase, amylase and protease. Additionally, the sterilization method of the present invention may be applied in the production process of pancreatin to produce pancreatin of good quality that has excellent enzyme activities, and is safe from contamination with microorganisms.본 발명은 판크레아틴의 살균방법 및 이를 이용한 판크레아틴 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 하나 이상의 용매에 판크레아틴이 분산 또는 용해된 형태의 조성물에 차아염소산나트륨(sodium hypochlorite)을 특정한 농도가 되도록 첨가하고 특정한 시간동안 유지하여 살균하는 것을 특징으로 하는 판크레아틴의 살균방법 및 이 살균방법을 이용한 판크레아틴의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따르면, 판크레아틴이 함유된 조성물에 차아염소산나트륨을 첨가하여 반응시키는 매우 간편한 방법으로 판크레아틴의 주요 효소인 리파제, 아밀라아제 및 프로테아제의 활성을 유지하면서 조성물에 존재하는 미생물을 매우 효과적으로 사멸시킬 수 있다. 또한 본 발명의 살균방법을 판크레아틴의 제조과정에 적용하면 효소활성이 우수하고 미생물 오염으로부터 안전한 우수한 품질의 판크레아틴을 제조할 수 있다.
