PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument capable of fixing wires to each other while the super elasticity of the wires being maintained, and a method for manufacturing the treatment instrument.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a treatment instrument including: a function member including at least one elastic wire formed of a wire material made of a material having a super elasticity and having a predetermined shape, and stationary portions formed individually with through holes allowing the elastic wire to be inserted for accommodating at least base end parts of the elastic wires in the insertion holes; a tubular pipe part having a tubular shape capable of receiving the a functional body; and operation means for inserting and removing the functional body into and out of the tubular part.
