PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft oil and fat composition for coating short in dripping time, and capable of manufacturing frozen dessert effectively.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil and fat composition for coating frozen dessert containing oil and fat having melting point of 50°C or higher of 0.1 to 3 wt.% and an emulsifier with HLB 9 or less of 0.05 to 3 wt.% in the oil and fat composition during manufacturing a frozen dessert by coating an oil and fat composition having hardness measured by a rheometer at φ5 mm plunger at -18°C and invasion speed of 5 cm/min. of 200 to 1500 g.
