PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility of an endoscopic image in an endoscope distal hood having an optical filter.SOLUTION: An endoscope distal hood 1 is mounted on a distal end 21a of an endoscope 2 including an imaging part 21c, and is composed of a substantially cylindrical member. The distal hood 1 includes: an endoscope mount part 11 to be mounted on the distal end 21a of the endoscope 2 and a hood part 12 formed at an opposite side of the endoscope mount part 11, along the axial center AX.
