PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately match positions of a three-dimensional image of a target object, and the target object itself or another image obtained by capturing the target object.SOLUTION: A medical image acquisition part 101 acquires a three-dimensional image obtained by imaging a target object by a first imaging device. A camera image acquisition part 104 acquires a two-dimensional image obtained by imaging a surface layer part of the target object by a second imaging device. A three-dimensional shape acquisition part 102 acquires information showing a surface position of the target object from the three-dimensional image. A virtual projection image generation part 107 generates a projection image viewed from the viewpoint of the second imaging device on the basis of the information showing the surface position.
