PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical instrument that can be attached to a patient accurately and surely and is easy to use.SOLUTION: A surgical instrument 20 relating to the invention includes: an alignment guide 50 that has a distal end part and a proximal end part； and a brace 30. The brace 30 is attached to a section near the proximal end part of the alignment guide 50, and enables attachment of the instrument to a leg of a patient. The brace 30 includes a pair of facing members. The pair of facing members are respectively formed in the form of holding an ankle of the patient at either leg side of the patient, and has a shape of a loop for defining an aperture. The loop is formed in a manner capable of surrounding the ankle. At least part of the brace is made of an elastic material that enables the brace to grasp the leg of the patient during its use.【課題】正確かつ確実に患者に取り付けることができ、かつ使いやすい、外科器具を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る外科器具２０は、遠位端部および近位端部を有する整列ガイド５０とブレース３０とを含む。ブレース３０は、整列ガイド５０の近位端部の方に取り付けられて、患者の脚に器具を取り付ける。ブレース３０は、一対の対向部材を含み、各対向部材は、患者の脚のいずれかの側で患者のくるぶしを保持するように成形され、各対向部材は、開口部を画定するループの形状を有し、そのループがくるぶしを取り囲むことができるように形成されており、ブレースの少なくとも一部が、使用中にそのブレースが患者の脚をつかむことを可能にする弾性材料で作られている。【選択図】 図２
