The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for protecting hair, and more particularly, to a composition for protecting hair by heat containing amodimethicone and dimethicone / vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer as an active ingredient . The composition comprising amodimetimecone and dimethicone / vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer of the present invention improves the moisture retention ability of hair and prevents hair damage due to heat more than the case of using other kinds of silicon .본 발명은 모발 보호용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로는 아모디메치콘(amodimethicone) 및 디메치콘/비닐 디메치콘 크로스폴리머(dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer)를 유효성분으로 포함하는 열에 의한 모발 보호용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 아모디메치콘 및 디메치콘/비닐 디메치콘 크로스폴리머를 조합한 조성물은 다른 종류의 실리콘을 사용한 경우보다 모발의 수분 유지 능력을 향상시켜 주며, 열에 의한 모발 손상을 방지하는 효과가 우수하다.
