PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify polynucleotides, polypeptides, variants, and derivatives particularly involved in bone remodeling by using a method, which has been developed, for analyzing a pattern of expression of polynucleotides, as the needs for providing a new composition, which is useful for diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, prevention, and evaluation of a therapy for the bone remodeling and associated disorders by further understanding the process of the bone remodeling, still exist.SOLUTION: The invention relates, in part, to unique and newly identified genetic polynucleotides involved in the process of the bone remodeling, variants and derivatives of the polynucleotides and corresponding polypeptides, uses of the polynucleotides, polypeptides, variants, and derivatives, and methods and compositions for the amelioration of symptoms caused by bone remodeling disorders.
