PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generating body, a plasma generating apparatus, an ozone generating apparatus, and an exhaust gas treatment apparatus which allow a plasma to be generated satisfactorily and to be used over a long term.
SOLUTION: The plasma generating body comprises a first electrode 3 and a second electrode 4 the main surfaces of which face each other via a space S wiring conductors 8, which are connected to the both sides of the first electrode 3 respectively second wiring conductors 9 which are connected to the second electrode 4 and a pair of external terminals 10, which are connected to the first wiring conductor 4 and the second wiring conductor 9 respectively.
