A powder nasal administration formulation containing particulate steroid hormones having an average particle diameter of 50 to 300 µm as an active ingredient is prepared. The above powdered nasal administration preparation may further contain a water-soluble polymer (especially water-soluble polysaccharides such as cellulose having a hydroxyalkyl group). The particulate steroid hormones may be formed of testosterone and/or derivatives thereof. The water-soluble polymer may be particulate. The proportion of the water-soluble polymer may be about 1 to 50 parts by weight based on 1 part by weight of the particulate steroid hormones. The powder nasal administration formulation may be a powder nasal administration formulation capable of adjusting C max of steroid hormones to 15 ng/ml or less.
