PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band stopper with which an end part of a band can be easily secured without twisting or distortion thereof, the band can be easily unravelled, and with which re-fastening work is simple, thereby reducing a worker's burden and improving work efficiency.SOLUTION: The band stopper is disposed at the end of a band for securing the end portion thereof, and comprises: a main longitudinal portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the band at the time of securing； a main lateral portion extending to one side of the substantially central position of longitudinal direction of the main longitudinal portion； a front lateral portion and a rear lateral portion provided at predetermined intervals on both sides of the main lateral portion in the longitudinal direction of the main longitudinal portion； and an edge portion provided on the surface of the main lateral portion.
