PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeled tomato having an excellent appearance.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is constituted by a cutting step (S10), heating step (S20), water washing step (S30), immersing step (S40), and container-or-bag filling step (S50). First, a tomato 1 is cut. Then, the cut tomato 1A is heated. Then, the heated tomato 1A is washed with water, and thereby a skin 2 of the tomato 1A is automatically peeled. When plural cut tomatoes 1A are simultaneously washed with water, the tomatoes 1A rotate and contact with each other, and thereby peeling is accelerated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
