A medical bed featuring off-bed alert includes a bed frame assembly, a plurality of supporting pads, and a plurality of wheels, which collectively constitute a medical bed, wherein a bed surface is constituted by the supporting pads for a patient to lie thereon. A central section of the bed surface is equipped with at least one set of off-bed sensor members and the off-bed sensor members are connected to an external monitoring device, wherein the off-bed sensor members have a base plate that is fixed in combination with the supporting pads for locking fixation and plural sensors electrically connected to the external monitoring device are arrayed at intervals on a top surface of the base plate.
