PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid with which a snack, that do not foil a hand even when touched by the hand directly and are seasoned with a preferred flavor, can be manufactured without changing the snacks original texture.SOLUTION: The coating liquid for producing the snack is used which is obtained by dissolving to a hydrophilic solvent a coating agent for producing the snack containing a water-soluble coating agent which is one or more selected from a modified starch, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, methylcellulose, a starch saccharified product, and a reduced starch saccharified product.
