PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a light source device to be used for many purposes at low cost, coaxially guiding two emitted light beams with different wavelengths, miniaturizable and reduced in the diameter and an endoscope system using the same.
SOLUTION: The light source device comprises: a first light emitting element to emit light on a first wavelength a second light emitting element to emit light on a second wavelength different from the first wavelength and a third light emitting element covered by at least one fluorescent body to emit first fluorescence excited by the light emission of the first light emitting element on a wavelength different from the first wavelength. Second fluorescence excited by the light emission of the second light emitting element to be emitted from the third light emitting element is not more than 1/10 of the first fluorescence excited by the light emission of the first light emitting element to be emitted from the third light emitting element. The above problem is solved by combining the first light emitting element, second light emitting element and third light emitting element.
