The present invention is related to the chemical field since it proposes a horizontal extractor of essential oils and similar organic compounds resulting from different physical parts of a wide range of vegetable species, the equipment being useful to be operated in situ using water, or any other organic solvent, vapour as a vehicle for transporting the extract, while satisfying the need of optimizing the extraction time and the quality of the product. The essential oil extractor is designed in such a manner that may be operated at atmospheric pressure and at pressures lower or higher than the atmospheric pressure. This unit is supplied with dragging fluid in an external form and requires a minimum personnel and attention for the correct operation thereof.La presente invención se relaciona con el campo de la química debido a que aporta un extractor horizontal de aceites esenciales y compuestos orgánicos similares, a partir de diversas partes físicas de una amplia gama de especies vegetales, el equipo es útil para su operación in situ, utilizando vapor de agua o algún solvente orgánico como vehículo para el transporte del extracto y a la vez satisface la necesidad del optimizar el tiempo de extracción y calidad del producto. El extractor horizontal de aceites esenciales está diseñado de tal forma que puede operar a presión atmosférica, así como a presiones ligeramente por abajo o por encima de la presión atmosférica. A esta unidad se le suministra fluido de arrastre de forma externa y requiere un mínimo de personal y atención para su correcto funcionamiento.
