PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid atomizer and a sauna apparatus using the same which improve water atomization efficiency.SOLUTION: The liquid atomizer includes a heat exchanger 7 and a fan motor 8 provided in an air duct connecting a suction port 4 and an exhaust port 5 and a liquid atomizing unit 9 arranged between the fan motor 8 and the exhaust port 5. A rotation unit 13 of the liquid atomizing unit 9 is provided with: a rotation axis 19 rotary plates 20a-20c turning around the rotation axis 19 in an axial direction of the rotation axis 19 a substantially cylindrical lifting pipe 22 composed of a smooth surface wherein the surface contacting with the rotary plates 20a-20c has no angle and a plurality of crushing parts 23 arranged in the outer periphery of the rotary plates 20a-20c.
