The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and health functional food for preventing or treating a thrombosis containing an organic solvent fraction of an oriental medicinal Ehwa (pear flower) liquor lees extract as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition and health functional food for preventing or treating a thrombosis which manufactures an ethanol extract or a hot water extract from liquor lees, a by-product of oriental medicinal liquor which is produced in a commercial facility, and contains a gradual organic solvent fraction and/or a water residue of the same as an active ingredient. The organic solvent fraction of the oriental medicinal liquor lees extract as the active ingredient of the pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating the thrombosis and the health functional food for preventing or relieving the thrombosis of the present invention has an excellent effect of being used for preventing and treating the thrombosis such as an ischemic stroke and a hemorrhagic stroke through improving blood circulation based on a strong antithrombotic effect such as a blood coagulation inhibition activity and a platelet aggregation inhibition activity as being specifically proved through an embodiment of the specification.
