A clip light device and mounting which provide the means and method for securing the device to a mountings manufactured to accommodate the clip easily, quickly, comfortably, securely, and in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The invention overcomes the limitations of existing battery powered clip light devices and headlamps by utilizing advanced rechargeable batteries, strong micro Light Emitting Diodes (micro-LED) lights, easy recharging via pinout, and novel method attaching the device.
