Each first detent (1.2.1) projects from an inner surface of the annular collar (1.2) in a radial inward direction. The first detent (1.2.1) is adapted to engage a corresponding second detent (2.2) of the medical cartridge (2) to mount the medical cartridge (2) to the cartridge holder (1).
