PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nerve stimulation device capable of effectively performing nerve stimulation according to a therapeutic purpose without having a harmful effect on the heart.SOLUTION: There is provided a nerve stimulation device 1 comprising: a stimulation signal output unit 4 for outputting a nerve stimulation signal a cardiac event detection unit 3 for detecting a cardiac event and a control unit 5 for controlling the stimulation signal output unit 4 so as to output, in a cardiac refractory period, a nerve stimulation signal having strength depending on a cardiac rate calculated on the basis of the cardiac event detected by the cardiac event detection unit 3.
