PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that cannot be provided the activity monitor which can be cheaper and require lower power than existing activity monitors.SOLUTION: The activity monitor which can be cheaper and require lower power than the existing activity monitors is provided. A single output channel is prepared from two or more movement sensors and is monitored intermittently. A method for monitoring an activity has: a step which generates each sensor signal to show the movement experienced by the movement sensor from two or more movement sensors a step which receives the sensor signal and outputs the sensor signal in order by the single output channel and a step which processes the signal according to the prescribed method.
