PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary seedling loading device for loading a plurality of seedlings to be fed onto seedling loading tables of a seedling transplanter, configured to change the form of the auxiliary seedling loading device so that seedlings can be easily loaded onto the auxiliary seedling loading device.SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter includes the auxiliary seedling loading device 4. The auxiliary seedling loading device 4 includes auxiliary seedling loading tables on a plurality of stages. A seedling loading table 4A on the uppermost stage and a seedling loading table 4B on the lower stage, constituting the auxiliary seedling loading tables 4, are connected to each other by a link mechanism L, and the seedling loading table 4A on the uppermost stage is moved by operating the link mechanism L. The auxiliary seedling loading device 4 is configured to switch the state to a developed state B in which the seedling loading table 4A and the seedling loading table 4B are disposed in the longitudinal direction, or to a stacked state A in which the seedling loading table 4A and the seedling loading table 4B are disposed in the vertical direction.
